For everyday first aid jobs and designed to cut clothing, seat belts and other tough materials, these scissors are made from stainless steel with a tough non-breakable plastic handle. The lower blade of the scissors is hooked and rounded at the lip enabling easy insertion underneath the material to be cut. The lower blade also has a serrated edge, this enables the material to be gripped while the top blade is brought down to shear.
